History

Burleigh Appliances is owned by A Licensed Electrical Contractor, who is specialized in home appliance repairs, installations

I completed my apprenticeship as an Electrical fitter/mechanic, working mostly on big machine repairs, including rewinding electrical motors and control gear, and did an extra course on electronics.

Once qualified as an electrician, I changed jobs and spent the next 8 years wiring houses, small blocks of units and industrial machine connections.

After years of this work, I decided to change again, and went back to fixing and installing machines, but this time smaller machines, domestic appliances.

I have been happily and successfully self employed, in this career for the past 25 years.

I have seen the appliance repair industry make massive changes during this period, and to be successful I have kept up to date with all the changes, including the use of electronic controls, a larger variety of brands on the market, and more Government rules and regulations regarding safety in the industry.

I am a fully qualified, licensed and insured Electrical Contractor and confident to offer excellent customer service, to repair kitchen and laundry appliances.

These are:- dishwashers, ovens, hotplates, stoves, rangehoods, microwaves, washing machines, and clothes dryers.

The charges are $99/hour or part there of, plus parts.(this includes GST) If I am there 1 minute or 60 minutes, same charge=$99, plus parts. NO EXTRA CALL OUT FEE.

My service fee is slightly cheaper than a lot of other companies, but you are not getting lower standards.

You are still getting the highest quality service, but I am honest and believe that charging a lot more is just being greedy, and the normal customer will not pay an unreasonable charge.
